1666: Amsterdam Characters — Noa, Aaron & Zaindaris

Source-backed profiles of the Collector, the cat familiar, and the figures behind Noa’s mission.

Noa Brooklyn — the Collector

Noa was born the Collector and raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: reclaiming the power held by the Originals. Her role connects the investigation story to the confrontations that take place during the Esbat.

Her witchcraft and spellcasting come from generations of Zaindaris. The official description emphasizes choice and multiple approaches, rather than selectable character classes.

Aaron — a perspective from 1999

Aaron is summoned from 1999 and now sees the world through a cat’s eyes. Players switch between Aaron and Noa. The developer describes their playstyles as radically different, with Noa wielding witchcraft and Aaron providing the feline perspective.

This source does not establish Aaron’s profession or list precise actions such as opening doors or persuading citizens, so those details are not treated as confirmed here.

The Zaindaris

The Zaindaris raised Noa and passed down her magical traditions. Their connection to her upbringing gives context to her mission; the public description does not name a complete roster of members.

The Originals

These centuries-old entities possess time and power and hide behind human faces among Amsterdam’s citizens. Noa’s task is to identify, mark, and confront them. See the Originals reference for the encounter structure.
